Elliot D. Fladen is the principal member of The Fladen Law Center. In the past, his practice of law has focused on both prosecuting and defending complex litigation matters. He represents corporations, business entities, and individuals in a wide range of disputes, including real estate matters, construction disputes, hospital overbillings, questions pertaining to the Colorado Open Meetings Act and governmental transparency, and other issues of complex litigation. He has taken numerous cases to trial. He has been heavily involved in the drafting of past proposed legislation on topics ranging from Colorado’s Ethics laws to eminent domain and mineral rights. Stories or columns touching upon his work have appeared in the Denver Post, the Colorado Springs Gazette, the Colorado Independent, the Colorado Observer, and the Colorado Statesman.
A 2005 graduate of Stanford University Law School, Elliot Fladen is also a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Northwestern University with a Bachelors of Art Degree in Economics. Upon graduation from Stanford University Law School, he clerked for the Honorable David Godbey, federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Since his clerkship he has worked in both the private sector and for governmental entities that include the United States Department of Justice.
